What is Cloud Posture Management?
Cloud Posture Management, sometimes referred to as Cloud Security Posture Management, is a technology designed to keep your cloud environments configured in a secure way, whilst adhering to best practises as close as possible. Usually run as a SaaS service, a CPSM product will connect to your cloud environments via API and check the configuration of various components. This can include checks on IAM policies, Network Security Rules, Storage Bucket configuration and more. Once discovered a Cloud Posture Management tool can help auto-remediate an issue, keeping your environment aligned with your security policies and frameworks.
