What is Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)?
Rather than focus on a single issue or area of protection SOAR tools aim to bridge your existing tools together and enable them to provide more efficient protection of your estate.
Instead of needing to jump between multiple products to investigate security incidents, a SOAR tool will pull data in from all your security solutions to provide a single pane of glass for an incident. Enriching the incident with data from the appropriate toolsets, your SOAR tool should perform automatic actions that your own staff would normally perform manually, saving hours of investigation and improving the speed of your response.
