SEP2 in Singapore
SEP2 had the brilliant opportunity to travel to Singapore for a week of inspiring workshops designed to support the growth of SEP2. Chief Executive Officer Paul Starr and Chief Financial Officer Mahreen Jamil represented SEP2 during this rewarding experience. The programme included a comprehensive preparation phase, a 5-day innovation visit to Singapore, and an ‘exploitation’ workshop. This workshop provided participants with one-to-one support from an Innovate UK Innovation and Growth Specialist, who assists businesses in identifying technology partnering opportunities, attracting foreign investors to support the commercialisation of UK technology, and developing innovation projects with partners in Singapore.
Paul and Mahreen had the chance to engage with industry leaders, explore cutting-edge technologies, and participate in collaborative discussions.
“The experience of networking and gaining direct insights on expanding into Singapore was incredibly valuable and will significantly influence the future direction of SEP2. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the pitches from my fellow delegates, it was a unique opportunity to learn from their ideas and diverse perspectives.”
Paul Starr, CEO of SEP2
